All the staff was affable, resolved my issues. It was tastefully decorated, generous-sized and with a substantial library. The location was peaceful, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a Roman Catholic basilica. The main shopping centre and a shopping street were right next door.

WOW! What an amazing building, hotel and owner. Myself and my wife have decided that this was our best experience with a hotel. I had been e-mailing the owner directly (Hugo) who allowed us to arrive far earlier than normal checkout. We were greeted into what is also his home with the warmest of welcomes. The room wasn't quite ready, so he gave us a little tour of the property, including his fantastic wine cellar. We even got in some free tasting. The room (Africa) was fantastic, quirky and so original. Breakfast was original as well, breads cooked on site and served to the room. Hugo even let us use the hotel facilities (Parking permit, toilets) after we had checked out. Without doubt we will be back and intend to stay in the Japanese room. We will also be keeping contact with the owner. Read some other reviews and thought I would comment on their negatives. There is no en-suite nor air conditioning. This is all mentioned on the web though, so we were aware and fine with that before hand. Neither was an issue for anyone whilst we were there. Nothing can be done about the mosquitos in the summer. The staircase picture to the bed is on the web. It is for the younger at heart.

Convenient location within walking distance to a lively central square. Our deluxe king room was amazing, featuring comfy sofas and a beautiful 4-poster bed. Had a really pleasant stay here! 🌟

Our host Hugo, was like a friend and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were huge and comfortable. Large windows. We had the Japanese room so we go a whole floor to ourselves with a private bathroom. We had a large living/diningroom as well as a separate bedroom. The location was excellent for walking to the town square , it was a relaxing walk with many ways to go to town so you got to see quite a bit of the town itself. Our breakfast consisted of warm fresh rolls from the bakery, meats, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and milk. There was coffee making equipment and the morning meal was plenty to start your day.
We had to go into the public hallway to go to the bathroom but we never ran into anyone during the night. No airconditioning but we managed to keep cool enough.

Lovely b&b with quirky, themed decor. Very central but on quiet street. Excellent breakfast. Lovely, friendly host that accommodated us by waiting up late to check in that night. Also spent time showing us room & pointing out facilities. Gave free city map on the following day too! Would recommend this place to anyone intending on staying in Bruges.

I recently stayed at B&B Lady Jane for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Hugo, was incredibly genuine and helpful. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, as well as a nice table to enjoy the substantial breakfast that was brought to the room in the morning. Free parking was available outside with a blue badge during the daytime, and there were also complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had shower gels and shampoo provided, making it easy to pack light. The location was great, allowing for a pleasant walk to the major attractions while getting lost in the charming streets of Bruges. I highly recommend experiencing a stay at B&B Lady Jane.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at Lady Jane. The owner is very friendly and especially helpful. They provide a very nice and generous breakfast and coffee/tea facilities in the room with a fridge.
The shower was a little awkward.
